HOW IT WORKS
Our custom process starts with you. When creating your dream custom piece, there are 3 routes to pick from:
REIMAGINE AN EXISTING WWAKE DESIGN
Have our Custom Design Team create an iteration of an existing piece, showcasing the stone of your choice. This stone may differ in color and/or size from the original, but not in shape.
CREATE A CUSTOM SILHOUETTE
Have our Custom Design Team create a completely new silhouette. Draw inspiration from existing WWAKE pieces, but create a brand new design with the stone of your choice. Be experimental with shape, color, and size!
RESET AN HEIRLOOM STONE
Have our Custom Design Team create a WWAKE piece using a stone from your family heirloom. This piece may be an iteration of an existing WWAKE design, or a completely new silhouette. Create a modern ring that keeps your family history close.

ABOUT OUR STONES
TRANSPARENT SOURCING
We specialize in transparent and responsible stone sourcing that connects you to the earth and every hand in between. We prioritize colored gemstones from development projects providing social and economic support to the mining communities at the source of our jewelry. As a bare minimum standard, our colored gemstones (and the occasional fancy-colored diamond) come with a verified country of origin before being set in our jewelry.
RECYCLED DIAMONDS
We’re in the practice of bringing new life to old stones. Our diamonds are recycled (often even antique!). Our artistic approach brings value to diamonds beyond the traditional GIA standards, prioritizing the interesting characteristics of a diamond, rather than absolute industrial perfection. We do not use lab grown diamonds nor newly purchased diamonds provided by clients.
A STONE FOR EVERYONE
We’ll find the perfect stone for you. Our custom projects range anywhere from $4,000 to over $30,000, and each one is tailored to one’s design aesthetic, sense of quality, and chosen spending range. We’ll walk you through the details so you can make informed, feel-good, decisions!

YOUR VISION
Describing your vision is key to making your special piece. We recommend doing preliminary research through our Futures Collection and Instagram to define the design motifs you’re drawn to. Then, complete our Custom Questionnaire.
STUDIO VISIT & STONE SOURCING
Following your questionnaire, we’ll reach out to schedule your in-person or virtual appointment with our Brooklyn-based team. This is the time to explore our designs and gemstones up close!
PROPOSAL
Based on your studio visit, we’ll share a design proposal, including a detailed design description, pricing, and a visual mockup of your piece. The prices of our custom work will vary depending on the complexity of the design, the weight and rarity of your materials, and the engineering needed to set your stones.
PRODUCTION
Your custom WWAKE piece will require 6-8 weeks after the design is confirmed. Any heirloom stones will need to be received for this production timeline to begin. Our production time depends on the complexity of your design as well as the demand of custom work at the time. We do our best to work with your desired schedule, but keep in mind that the more time we have, the better!
Once your custom piece is completed, we offer complimentary domestic Fed-Ex 2-day shipping, International shipping, and pick-ups from our Brooklyn Studio.
Every custom WWAKE piece comes with our 3-year Futures Collection Warranty.
